About us

The Little boat kindergarten and daycare has been a beacon of early childhood education since 1987, undergoing three distinct stages of development.

In 1993, it was lovingly passed on to Mrs. Elizabeth Carter, who took over the administration and became its legal representative. With her vision and passion, the second chapter of the kindergarten’s journey began, focusing on creating a warm, family-like atmosphere for children to learn and grow.

In 2005, Mrs. Carter’s daughter, Sarah Carter, stepped in to manage the kindergarten, continuing her mother’s legacy. By 2011, Sarah officially took over as the legal representative, marking the beginning of a new era for the family-run business. For over three decades, it has remained under the same family, cultivating a close-knit and nurturing community.

Throughout the years, the commitment has always been to provide a safe, joyful environment where children thrive. With the help of experienced educators, Little Explorers encourages each child’s natural curiosity through playful learning. Here, children are inspired to explore, discover, and grow, with the goal of becoming active, thoughtful individuals who contribute meaningfully to society.

The name “Little boat” is inspired by a poem written in 1924. Just as a sailboat navigates the open sea, children must learn to sail through a sea of emotions and feelings. They are guided to channel and control these emotions positively, fostering their human, social, and future professional development. Our goal is to help children become creators of their own realities, inspiring others along the way.

From their earliest years, children must develop essential cognitive skills, conflict resolution abilities, and resilience in the face of frustration. These qualities are nurtured through play and experiences in an environment of equality and dignity, recognising the unique role families play in each child’s upbringing. We embrace diversity, understanding that families are the irreplaceable core in the development of every individual.

We provide them with the necessary tools through meaningful experiences that enhance their skills and knowledge, while also teaching them to recognise and manage their emotions in a positive way. This empowers them to achieve their goals and contribute positively to society.

Educational Project

Affection is the driving force behind the potential and energy in every human being, and it is during the early years of life that relationships built on affection and trust have the greatest impact on children’s development.

An affectionate environment fosters communication, respect, and the acceptance of differences, creating a sense of security in children. This, in turn, encourages a greater curiosity to understand the world around them.

  • Our heating system is centralised and uses radiators.
  • To maintain a clean environment, we use ozone-based air purifiers, which are highly effective disinfectants.
  • We offer various interactive outdoor play areas for the children.
